Young Professionals (YP's) is a ministry of Harvest City Church that works with young men and women from 16 to early 30's who have a passion to be a part of something great in the kingdom of God. The mission is clear and the time is now. God is calling 21st century young adults into greater intimacy with God, greater integrity in conduct, greater ministry to others, and a greater multiplication of resources.
We meet on Saturday nights for a variety of activities, ranging from lively worship and relevant teaching to team building exercises and a variety of social activities.
An increasing number of young people come along to YP's on a Saturday night. A large majority of this number are partners of the church, but it is a place where anyone will be made to feel welcome. If you are in the 16 - 30's age group and you are looking for a church, or perhaps you just want to know a bit more about Jesus come along and join us. You will have the opportunity to meet Christians your age and have a great night!
A number of our group are current or recent students, and we provide support to those students who have chosen to have our church as their place of worship whilst in Leicester. We welcome students and value the vibrancy they bring to our church.
Our Pastor Chip Kawalsingh is a regular speaker at Leicester University and De Montfort University and a number of our group attend the Christian Union
We regularly run after service meals for students, and those in YP's, and this is a great chance to get to know other Christians your age and eat well to. Come along and be fed spiritually, socially and physically!
