Prayer & Fasting 2012
Monday 9th to Sunday 22nd January
Every January we join together as a Church to pray and fast for the coming year. This year the prayer and fasting will last for 14 days, starting on the 9th and ending on the 22nd.
To help you to focus during the fast we have produced a Prayer Diary which outlines what fasting is, why we do it and how to do it safely, and walks you through a couple of scriptures each day with some related prayer points. The diary is a fantastic resource and we really encourage you to get one and to use it to get the most of of this time.

The Prayer Diary is on sale from the Bookshop at St John's on Tuesdays and Judgemeadow on Sundays. It is a 20 page, professionally printed booklet and only costs £1. Each page includes space for you to record your thoughts, so we suggest that everyone should have their own copy.
