Saturday 4th July, 1 - 4pm, Leicester City Centre
It's that time of year again - the sun is shining and we're off to the City to spread the Gospel!
The Bible tells us in Acts 4 that Peter and John told the authorities "we can't keep quiet about what we've seen and heard", and nothing has changed - nor can we! On Saturday 4th July we will be heading into the City to tell everyone about Jesus, what He has done for us and what He can do for them!
We will be meeting at Church at 12 noon for a buffet lunch before walking together into the City centre at about 1pm. Once there we will simply spend the afternoon talking to people! There will be loads of activities and entertainment going on, here's just a sample:

We'll stay there until around 4pm, then we'll meet back at Church for a BBQ starting at 4.30pm. We'll round the day off with a joint NRG/YPs PraiseParty at 7.30pm which will be open to all the young people we meet during the day.
For those of you who may be joining us after lunch, we will be based just outside H&M on Humberstone Gate, opposite the entrance to the Haymarket. You can see the route from Church on the map here - it's no more than a 10 minute walk.
The City Outreach is one of the most important things we do each year, and it would be fantastic if everyone in the Church made the effort to come and support it. We ask that you come prepared to talk to people and witness. We understand that for some people that is a difficult thing, so we've produced a questionnaire which you can go through with people, helping you to start a conversation and providing natural talking points. As always, there will be plenty of jobs to to so we'd really appreciate it if you come along ready to get stuck in. If you see something that needs doing don't wait to be asked, just do it!
