New Horizons
Group for the over 50s (or young at heart!)
Headed up by Paul and Tanya Goffin, New Horizons proves that age is no barrier to Christian growth, service or indeed fun. It aims to draw together the mature amongst us and provide a focal point for more specific and relevant teaching, drawing on the wisdom and experience that only a life-long Christian walk can forge.
But that is only half the story – New Horizons is about living life to the full, and our busy social calendar of meals, walks, talks and days-out encourages strong bonds of friendship through fellowship that will not end once you walk out of the church doors. Come and join us, and see what is over your New Horizon!
Upcoming New Horizons Events
Sat 18th February - Lunch at Church (St John's) followed by a quiz or DVD, 1pm.
Sat 24th March - Buffet lunch at Church (St John's) followed by Leicester history talk, with optional Leicester history walk after. Start at 12pm.
Sat 21st April - Country walk and tea shop, venue to be announced.
