Following the success of our seasonal Food Parcels, we are pleased to announce the birth of a new ministry - AoK (Acts of Kindness)!

As a Church, we always try to reflect the love of Jesus in the way we love our city. Each year at Christmas we collect and pack boxes of food and goodies and hand them out to those that need them most. The parcels that have gone out have served to bless the people receiving them and the givers alike. Now we have decided to roll this out all year round!

Acts 20:35 (NIV) says 'It is more blessed to give than to receive', so we encourage you all to get behind AoK and get involved!

We hope to get up and running quickly so we can start distributing food parcels as soon as possible, but to do that we need your help. We are asking every family in the church to bring in one or two items every couple of weeks to help us build a store so we can start handing out parcels.

Once we get up and running, we will be asking for all sorts of different things. This week we would like you to bring:

  • Biscuits
  • Cakes
  • Sweets

If everyone chips in we can quickly and cheaply start helping people who are in need. We are very grateful for any and all items that you are able to bring in. Thank you for your help.

AoK is being run by Juliana so if you would like to know more just see her and have a word! Alternatively you can contact us in the office and we will be happy to help you.

This is a really worthy cause so please support us and help us to make life a little easier for those people who are struggling - it's an Act of Kindness!
