Outreach 2010

The sun shone, the clowns entertained and we all had an awesome day witnessing to people in Leicester!

We had worship from our talented music group, as well as solos from Phil and Sarata which drew big crowds. Some of the guys performed an African dance and the prize for audience participation went to the Hallelujah Choir for an outdoor performance of The Kingdom Skank that had everyone dancing! The girls dance group was amazing and performed several pieces, whilst Creative Arts lived up to their reputation with various quality dramas.

For the kids there was face painting, colouring and an excellent puppet show which was really entertaining and well received - as well as our clowns who made plenty of kids laugh (and a few cry!).

The two huge sky dancers drew people in from all around and we were able to speak to hundreds of them. Almost 150 people stopped to complete our questionnaire, and 49 people gave their lives to the Lord!

Afterwards, we all headed back to Church for a barbeque and a well-earned rest. It was a fantastic day, and we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who was involved and helped to make it so special. If you missed it, don't worry - we're already planning next year!
