Transformed
Romans 12:2 (New Living Translation) - Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
It is one thing to know the words Jesus spoke, but quite another to actually experience what His words can do, which is to change and transform us. Christ came and spoke so that we might be changed; changed to live differently, to act differently, and to think differently from the ways of this world.
The ways of the world are weak, fickle, and life strangling. Jesus’ words bring life to transform us to be more like Him in lifestyle and in thought. Our thoughts have a very important influence over how we live. The quality of the life we enjoy has much to do with what we think about daily. Your life tomorrow will be set on course by whatever you think about today.
