Parking At Harvest City Church

As we enter an exciting new time of double Sunday services at Harvest City Church, we would like to clarify a few things in order to ensure smooth-running and hassle-free Sunday mornings for us all!

Firstly, the Church car park now operates as a ONE-WAY system!

All cars are to enter from St. John's street and exit onto Grafton Place to minimize congestion and make it easier for everyone to get into and out of the car park.

On a related note, please try not to ‘hang around’ in the car park after the first service (I know that this will be hard as you will naturally want to chat to people arriving for the second service) as this will cause a problem with getting the second service people into church on time for a prompt start at 11am.

People arriving for the 1st Service please park on the Leicester College side of the car park, surrounding streets or the NCP on Abbey Street (see diagrams on this page for directions).

Parking Spaces on the Church side of the car park are to be left clear for the people arriving for the 2nd Service, which will begin at 11am with pre prayer at 10.45am.  The first service will end at 10.30am hence the need for these changes.

Please DO NOT PARK IN THE TGWU/UNITE PARKING SPACES under any circumstances. We share this car park and would like to keep friendly relations with our neighbours and respect their needs.

When parking please be certain that you leave NOTHING visible inside your cars and if you have a removable stereo please make sure that you have removed it.  Also if you are fortunate enough to have a Sat Nav please remove not only the device, but also the holder from your windscreen.  Apparently thieves are breaking into cars with the holders on their windscreens assuming that the Sat Nav has been left in the glove compartment.  Although car crime hasn’t been too much of a problem, let’s not encourage them.

Please do bear with us during the transition as unforseen problems may arise, but if everyone follows these simple rules then we shouldn't have any trouble! We thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation.
