Senior Leadership
Church Leaders
At Harvest City Church we believe in strong leadership and in raising up new leaders to expand the work of the Church. Our leadership is structured with our Senior Pastors, Chip and Sarah, at the top, supported by our Elders, Lee and Helen, Ian and Tracey and Neil and Ruth, as well as our team of Core Leaders.
Senior Pastors
Chip and Sarah Kawalsingh
Chip and Sarah are the Senior Pastors of Harvest City Church. They are both graduates of Portland Bible College in Oregon, USA.
Chip has travelled all over the world preaching and teaching the Word of God and has written several books including An Extra Shot, Formation Leadership and God, a Mocha and Me. Sarah is the musical director at Harvest City Church.
Chip and Sarah are also part of the leadership team of Ministers Fellowship Europe, an organisation designed to provide support and relationships to pastors across Europe, and MFWI, the West Indian equivalent.
Elders
Our elders play a vital role in the life of the Church. They help to oversee the running of the Church and, along with the Pastors, guide the Church by the Word and Spirit of God. They also supply excellent pastoral care: teaching, praying for needs, supporting members and providing an example for everyone to follow.
Lee and Helen Venning
Lee regularly teaches and preaches in the Church, and also travels with Pastor Chip. Helen works as the Church administrator and assists our Pastors at conferences and events.
Ian and Tracey Mann
Ian is also a regular speaker at HCC, a worship leader and runs the Church’s technical department. Tracey runs the Creative Arts and Retreat groups, and has a hand in many of the ladies events.
Neil and Ruth Gallagher
Neil heads up the Excel men's group, as well as fulfilling regular teaching and preaching commitments. Amongst other things, Ruth leads the First Steps JC group and helps new converts find their feet.
Core Leaders
Working with the Senior Pastors and Elders we have a team of Core Leaders. These couples share in the leadership of the Church and our Pastors and Elders are only able to fulfil their purposes because they have this strong, reliable and faithful team backing them up.
Leadership is about service, and you will find all our leaders to be down to earth and approachable. We are A Church About People and all our leaders have a heart to reach out to people for the Lord. They are always on hand to help, and would love to sit down and have a chat with you over a cup of coffee - just ask!
